A satellite is an object or planet that orbits around a larger planet.

A lot of communication and mapping satellites have been placed around the earth. For some, these satellites can help fighting cyclones, as long as we want to slow down the cyclones.

Probes that travel through the solar system can also temporarily transform into satellites to map new planets.

A planet’s moon is also considered to be a planet’s satellite. A moon is a small planet orbiting a larger planet.

My Notes

Write on an earth’s satellite.
