The sun hides because the earth rotates on itself and around the sun. It makes day and night. It is not the sun that moves but the earth where you are located. In addition, the earth rotates around a curved axis around the sun. It makes seasons.

But it’s not just the earth that revolves around the sun. There are Mercury, Venus and Mars for example. In total there are 9 planets that revolve around the sun.

But not only these planets are known. We discover a lot of exoplanets, planets very very far away, around stars other than the sun.

My Notes

Have a look at the Egyptians’ cult of Ra.
